Mobile Modular Cabinets with Trays & Baskets

Construction Specifications:

Continental Metal Products mobile stainless steel operating room carts and cabinets are constructed of 18-gauge, Type 304 stainless steel with a No. 4 finish. All exposed welds are Heliarc welded, ground and polished to match the No. 4 finish. Cabinets are designed for durability, mobility and flexible storage in Operating Rooms, Hybrid ORs, Cath Labs, Interventional Radiology suites and other clinical environments. Mobile storage cabinets are available in multiple sizes and configurations to accommodate the storage and operational requirements of the facility.

Standard glass doors contain ¼” thick safety plate glass for visibility of stored supplies and instruments. The entire front portion of the door is punched and formed from one piece of 18-gauge stainless steel. Swinging doors are mounted on heavy-duty chrome-plated hinges and secured closed using nylon friction roller catches. Two-point knob-lock doors are also available.

Optional door configurations include stainless steel double-pan doors and tambour (roll-up) doors with security locking options. Tambour doors provide access to the cabinet interior without requiring the clearance associated with outward-swinging doors. Motorized automatic roll-up door configurations are also available.

Cabinets with adjustable shelving utilize removable pilaster strips that provide shelf height adjustment in ½” increments. Pilaster strips can be easily removed to allow for proper sterilization of the cabinet and pilaster strips. Adjustable stainless steel shelves can be repositioned as storage requirements change.

Mobile cabinets can be configured with a variety of modular interior storage components, including ABS pull-out trays, molded and wire baskets, catheter slides, adjustable stainless steel shelves, surgical instrument pegboards, dividers and internal lockable stainless steel drawers. Trays and baskets can be installed horizontally or angled to improve visibility and access to stored supplies. Modular components can be repositioned or reconfigured to accommodate changing procedures and supply requirements.

Drawers are mounted on ball-bearing slides and incorporate pull-out stops and roll-out prevention. Door and drawer handles are chrome plated. Optional internal lockable stainless steel drawers are available for supplies requiring controlled access.

Mobile cabinets are equipped with heavy-duty 5″ diameter locking casters to provide mobility and secure positioning within the clinical environment. Cabinets can be moved as required and secured in position during use.

Catheter Storage Options

Catheter slides can be incorporated into mobile cabinets independently or combined with adjustable stainless steel shelves, trays and baskets. The quantity and location of catheter slides can be configured to meet customer storage requirements.

Catheter slides pull out fully for convenient access to stored items and can be mounted to the top of the cabinet or beneath a fixed shelf. Depending on cabinet depth, slides can accommodate multiple catheter holders and hooks.
